Under the guidance of the state Beidou office, it took the lead in the construction of Beidou comprehensive application demonstration project in Guangxi, introduced and cultivated a number of well-known enterprises in the domestic industry, gathered a number of leading enterprises in the Guangxi industry, and built a China ASEAN spatial information technology innovation demonstration base, which laid a solid foundation for accelerating the development of Beidou spatio-temporal information industry.

China ASEAN spatial information technology innovation demonstration base is a key project specifically supported by Nanning Bureau of industry and information technology under the guidance of the Department of industry and information technology of the autonomous region and Nanning Municipal Government under the background of building China ASEAN Information Port and the national Beidou Guangxi demonstration project in Guangxi. Relying on the member enterprises of China ASEAN satellite navigation international cooperation alliance, the project is committed to building a spatial information industry cluster "based on Guangxi and facing ASEAN", which is an important carrier for building a Beidou spatio-temporal information hub facing ASEAN.
