Recently, Chairman Li Jianjun led the representatives of CRDGC to visit Shandong Dingli Group in Shandong Province, the birthplace of Confucian culture. Under the leadership of Chairman Liu Yulin, the group has made great contributions to the local economic development. Many aspects are worth learning and drawing lessons from. Later, the representatives visited a Coal Group owned by Mr. Wang Yufeng in Ningxia, a city with a good reputation of “The Abundant Place outside the Great Wall”. Their modern management and continuous mining in strict accordance with environmental protection requirements left a deep impression on the Representatives of CRDGC.

Ningxia, known as the the Abundant Place outside the Great Wall, is rich in coal reserves with complete varieties, excellent quality and good development conditions. The proven reserves are more than 31 billion tons, and the prospective reserves are 202.9 billion tons, ranking sixth and fifth in China. Among the 14 major types of coal in China, there are 11 in Ningxia, with an annual coal production capacity of more than 40 million tons. In 2008, the State Council issued "several opinions on further promoting the economic and social development of Ningxia", which clearly pointed out that Ningdong base should be built into a national large-scale coal base, coal chemical industry base, thermal power base of "west to East power transmission" and circular economy demonstration area.
