Recently, under the arrangement of Secretary Yang of the Hotan Prefectural Committee and the deployment of Commissioner Zeng of the regional administrative office personally arranged the escort, Secretary-General Ai of the administrative office, Secretary Liu of the SASAC of the administrative office, and Deputy Mayor of Hetian City, Luopu County Party Secretary personally accompanied our group Representatives inspect and introduce projects. The Secretary of the Hotan Municipal Party Committee took time out of his busy schedule to meet with members of our delegation and told them about the relevant preferential policies of the country and the region.

The city of Hotan leans on Kunlun to the south and the Taklimakan Desert to the north. It is an important town in southern Xinjiang on the ancient Silk Road and the political, economic, cultural, transportation and financial center of Hotan. It is known as the "Jade City of the World" and "the City on Silk Road" all around the world. In recent years, the Hotan area has achieved continuous development of the urban and rural economy with the help of Xinjiang’s status as the strategic core area of the “Belt-and-Road” strategy, and the city's appearance has also changed rapidly. Xinjiang borders Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajik, Mongolia and other countries, and is the province with the largest number of border countries in China. Central Asian countries occupies an important position in the Belt-and-Road central line, and Xinjiang is in a critical position in China's land links to Central Asia.

The working style of leaders in Hotan area and the spirit of being responsible for the Party and the People are worth learning. The officials of prefectural Party committees and prefectures basically have no rest days. They do their best for the economic development of ethnic areas. Our group will not fail to live up to the hope of the Government. The projects confirmed by both Parties will be implemented as soon as possible, and we will make our contribution to the economic development and national unity of Hotan region and the poverty alleviation proposed by the Party Central Committee.
